Using the video as reference, navigate to floor plain view and zoom in on some of the suites.
To move the wall to the right, click on the Annotate button and select Aligned Dimension.
Use Tab to cycle through selection options and dimension to the wall.
After selecting the wall, the dimension will fade and text will turn blue.
When text is blue, it means you can click into it and change the value.
Add a value (e.g. 8 6) and click on Enter to accept the annotation.
To make a change to the dimension (e.g. 8 4), select the wall and change the dimension in the annotation box.
Revit will recognize the feet, inches and dash, you only need to place the numbers.
The same procedure works for Properties as well.
For instance, to draw a half wall in a room, here are the steps to follow:
Click on Architecture > select Wall > Top Constraint > Unconnected > Unconnected Height (add value e.g. 4 and Revit will format it accordingly to feet.)
It also works with temporary dimensions (these are the little blue values which appear after selecting an element).
This process can greatly speed up your workflow.
