Enjoy quick and easy conversion to PDF as well as the ability to share PDF drawings with users who don’t have or don’t need to have access to Vault.
Autodesk Vault 2020 continues to improve the automated creation of 2D PDFs from your drawings directly in response to your feedback through the Autodesk community.
While we all use 3D modeling to our advantage whenever we can, 2D drawings are still a required deliverable.
When we share 2D drawings with our partners and colleagues, they want to be able to view the drawings without access to the original CAD system that created it.
We realize that for many of you this means PDF.
Creating a 2D PDF inside Vault 2020 from an IDW, or DWG drawing file is a simple click.
New for 2020 is the ability to sync the lifecycle state in revision of the new PDF with the drawing file that created it.
Save time by batch-producing PDFs. Group select mixed IDW and DWG files and right click to produce multiple PDFs at once.
Perhaps, you don’t want to create PDFs manually at all.
Use Vault Workgroup or Vault Professional’s Lifecycle states to trigger the productions of PDFs during a state change.
Finally you may want to share PDF drawings with users who don’t have or don’t need to have access to Vault.
Vault 2020 includes a new ability to create your PDFs in a directory relocation specified by you.
Autodesk Vault 2020 continues to build on your feedback from Autodesk ideas, forums and beta community with these usability improvements.
