How to "Orient to View" in Autodesk Revit 2020
The "Orient to View" feature allows you to view details of any plan, elevation, section or 3D view in a project.
Watch Connor demonstrate how to use the Orient to View command to view every piece of detail on the fourth level of this building plan.
Here are the steps to follow:
- In your default 3D view, go to the navigation bar on the right.
- Right click on the Cube and select “Orient to View”
- Select view type and name
After going through these steps, Revit gives you a 3D view of everything on the fourth level. Using shift and drag you can see the dimensions of the view.
