How to Use the Filter Button In Autodesk Revit 2020
Explore various ways to use the Filter button in Revit.
Hi, my name is Connor Taiariol, and I am a BIM Technical Specialist here at Redcage Solutions.
I’m here with a short Revit tip for you.
In this video, I’m going to outline how to use the filter tool.
In this model, I would like to select all windows.
To do so:
- I will select everything in the job
- click the Filter button
- Check None
- scroll down to check Windows
- click Apply
- click OK
Now as you can see, I have selected all windows in the job.
Let’s try this again.
Let’s orient the view to a Floor Plan.
I want to select all the doors on the fifth floor.
- I will select everything in my view
- click on the Filter button
- Check None
- select Doors
Now, as you can see, all the doors on the fifth floor have been selected.
